Pan-Seared Salmon
Ingredients
1 Whole Avocado
1/4 cup of Mexican Crema or Sour Cream
1/8 cup of Water
1 tbsp of Cilantro
4 Garlic Cloves
2 Limes juiced
1 Serrano
1-2 lbs Salmon Filets
Avocado Oil
Seasoning of choice (I used Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning)
Directions
Season your salmon. Heat a cast iron skillet to medium-high until it is smoking, and add a high smoke-point oil like Avocado oil to the pan.
Sear the salmon for around 4-5 min (depending on thickness) with the presentation side down FIRST.
Flip the salmon and cook for another 4-5 min (turn down the heat if getting too hot).
Top with avocado lime crema sauce and serve with your choice of low-carb veggies. We recommend our spicy green beans!
Avocado Lime Crema Sauce
Directions
Simply blend all your ingredients together until smooth.
Add to a squeeze bottle for easy storage and serving.
